Ballooms was founded in 2013 by two Austin mothers, Brittany and Michelle, who shared a passion for celebration and a vision to create a fun-loving company. As partners and co-founders, they took pride in spreading joy and positive energy throughout Texas neighborhoods. Their friendship and mutual appreciation for festivities were the heart of their business partnership. The brand flourished in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, with the unique concept of crafting large lawn balloon structures for special events. This idea quickly "bloomed," attracting not just mothers for birthday parties but also husbands, grandparents, teachers, and coaches seeking to commemorate anniversaries, grandchildren, students, athletes, and various other occasions. A decade later, with the business thriving, Brittany and Michelle decided to retire. In November 2023, they began their search for a successor and by August 2024, they passed the Ballooms legacy to Whitney, the Houston manager, and her husband, Brandon. Under their stewardship, the company's mission to celebrate life continues with renewed vigor, as they firmly believe in the power of celebrating loved ones to create a happier world. Whitney and Brandon reside in Houston, Texas with their two boys.
